I woke today with a heavy heart
thinking about the tragedy in Boston yesterday at the marathon
the lives that were lost , the horrific injuries, the terror for those that were there.
To all the emergency personnel, police and bystanders who rushed to the aid of the injured
WE THANK YOU
I am reminded that once again that we will never be the same
AMERICA
will never be the same.
Our sense of feeling "safe" in this world is once again shattered.
I am reminded of how precious life is
EMBRACE
today because we are not promised
TOMORROW
My prayers are for
BOSTON
and
the world we live in.
"Someday we'll forget the hurt, the reason we cried and who caused us the pain.
We will finally realize the secret of being
FREE
is not revenge but letting things unfold in their own way and time.
After all, what matters is not the first chapter , but the last chapter i n our life which shows,
HOW WE RAN THE RACE.
So smile, laugh, forgive, believe and love all over again.
Hugs,
Lynn

What a horrific tragedy! How horrible to turn such a celebration into the unthinkable. Prayers are coming from Michigan!
