I'm showing my TRUE COLORS ...Thyme to see my thrift store re-do that I painted in RED, WHITE and BLUE

A few weeks ago I posted this picture
of these wooden pineapple bowls

I paid $1.00 each for them
I wanted to show you what I came up with

I used my woodburning tool to make the lines

I added a wooden star

here are a few new thrift store finds

these are really quite large
I have a pretty good idea what I would like
to paint on the skillett
I think I need to paint it soon as my son
Andrew has his eye on it for camping!

Hugs,
Lynn

HOW CREATIVE YOU ARE...THAT IS AN AMAZING JOB...I HAVE SAW THOSE BEFORE AND DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH THEM...I CERTAINLY COULD NOT DO WHAT YOU DO.
I LOVE THAT WOODEN THING THAT LOOKS LIKE A SHOVEL. IT WOULD BE DARLING WITH A RED, WHITE, AND BLUE CHEF!
I PRAY FOR YOU EVERY DAY AND PRAY THAT YOU HAVE A PEACE AND THE SWELLING IN YOUR ANKLES BE RESOLVED.

  10. Such a simple thing to do. Turn the bowl over! Why didn't I think of that! I've had a set of wooden bowls in the shapes of the 4 card suits that I've been wanting to paint. Now I'll have to try your trick and see what I can create. Hope they turn out as nice as your pineapple! Thanks for the wonderful idea.
