Thyme to see what I did with some old windows

These were some old windows from my sisters house.
She gave me at least 20 and they have been sitting in my cellar for a few years now.
My husband kept saying what are you going to do with those?
The bottom window is from a
John Sliney pattern I enlarged
I hope you all take some thyme this weekend
to relax and enjoy
doing something you love to do!
Happy Painting!

Thyme to think about back to school

Here is a nice childs desk I found which I decided to paint for back to school thyme!
It reminds me of the desk I had in grammar school.......I think I'm dating myself now! LOL.
This is a John Sliney pattern.

Thyme to see what I just won on E-BAY

I am a great fan of
Terrye French
This wonderful goose pull toy was painted by Terrye French
and
is called Strawberries in the moon.
I have painted so many of Terrye's designs
 but
I am thrilled to finally own something painted and signed by Terry herself!
I hope you LOVE it as much as I do!
Blessings,
Lynn

How did you spend your thyme relaxing this weekend?

This weekend I re-purposed  an old mirror
to make a frame for the Tooth Wash Remedy Char at
The Pickled Pepper Patch shared with us.
You can find my stain mixture recipe and directions for use under labels.

Soaking in stain mixture

Baking in oven at 250 degrees

Thanks Char! I just love how it came out!

It is in my laundry/bathroom.

I also made this wreath!

The sheep on the wreath is a
Renee Mullins
pattern.

You can visit Renee

I hope you had thyme to do something
that you love this weekend too.

Thyme in the garden

I finally finished this garden bench for my Mom's birthday.
Her birthday was in June, Yes I said June!

The only reason she has been so patient is because this bench
is replacing a similar bench that my Dad had made her over 10 years
ago that had started to rot.( which I also painted).
Her old bench now has a family of wrens in it
 and
she doesn't want to evict them!!!!!!

Learning to blog thyme.........

Welcome to my
Painting Thyme Needfuls
blog.
This is where I spend most of my time painting each day.
My motto is,
" If it doesn't move then I can paint it !"

Lots and lots of brushes

Americana and Delta paints

I have a room in my basement where
I can store my "finds"
and
also work on real large pieces

I also have a couple of spray booths down in the basement
one for small pieces one for furniture
I look forward to getting to know you
and
sharing my love of
painting with you.
Happy Painting!
