Thyme for Sam

Even Sam needs some down Thyme!!!!
here is another thrift store find that I have painted on
I used a John Sliney Design
called
Quality Time Sam
It can be found in his book titled
A Road To America's Past

It was hard to prevent the glare and
get a good picture
given the pieces rounded surface

John Sliney
teaches some interesting
painting techniques
in using his patterns.
I especially love his wash techniques
to achieve that old antique feeling.

Hugs,
Lynn

Thyme to see what I did with some old windows

These were some old windows from my sisters house.
She gave me at least 20 and they have been sitting in my cellar for a few years now.
My husband kept saying what are you going to do with those?
The bottom window is from a
John Sliney pattern I enlarged
I hope you all take some thyme this weekend
to relax and enjoy
doing something you love to do!

Thyme to think about back to school

Here is a nice childs desk I found which I decided to paint for back to school thyme!
It reminds me of the desk I had in grammar school.......I think I'm dating myself now! LOL.
This is a John Sliney pattern.
