Thyme for prim pumpkins, and witch shoes!

I have kept my husband very busy lately
cutting out more

These are some new prim pumpkins that I designed this year
they measure about 42" tall
and are cut from rough sawn lumber

It was such a gorgeous day at the Cape
I decided to paint them outside on the driveway
 instead of in my studio

Grace Picard
our neighbors dog decided to come over and keep me company!

she is an ole girl

She comes almost every day for her cookie

Once she enjoyed her cookie she pretty much
wasn't interested in a painting lesson!

So she headed on home!

Here is one of the prim pumpkins
on my studio door at Cape Cod

This is a close up of the leave on the pumpkin.
I also finished up one of my large back garden sheep with a candy corn hang

I have a "few" more Fall pieces to finish up then
I really need to get in " Christmas" mode

Witch shoes ready to be antiqued

Eeeeeek My Pretties!
Happy Painting!

  1. Looks like you don't lack for anything to do Lynn! I always love seeing what you're up to.
I still chuckle when you mention that "Grace Picard" is visiting. We went to Colorado two weekends ago to visit Aunt Grace Picard who was there visiting from NC. She's got a few years on her to, but don't tell her I said that! LOL
Hope you are enjoying some lovely fall weather!

  2. Looks like you are busy paintin' up a Halloween storm! Love it all and miss grace as well, what a sweet girl to come for cookies then leave, LOL! CONGRATS on your grandson, the world needs LOTS more little boys, LOL!!!!!

  3. Hello Lynn, you're full of things to do!!! how's your back? I hope better...
    big hug. Milvi

  4. Lynn: These witches shoes are sooooo cute! How big are they and do you have a pattern?

Keep those brushes flying!
