  3. Can a Canadian gal like me enter your giveaway Lynn? If not that's okay. I have already had my Thanksgiving dinner on October 12th. I had turkey, stuffing, potatoes, gravy, veggies and apple pie with vanilla ice cream for dessert. I always thought it was strange that we didn't celebrate Thanksgiving day at the same time.

  4. Well, I am already a follower but I will be happy to tell you that on Thanksgiving I will be eating whatever my sister is cooking. I am not a very good cook which is the big joke in my family, but I am the only one out of eleven children that can paint -

    Congrats on your 100th post.

  5. Hi Lynn, I'd love to be entered in your give-away. Not sure what we are doing this Thanksgiving. My dad had a stroke this year and is a nursing home, so I'm kind of dreading it. One way or another, I want to spend time with him, that is what I am most thankful for. Have a great weekend, Dawn

  8. I love the saying on the sign, something I remind myself of everyday.
I have a special diet, so doubt anyone would want my recipes, lol.
I make traditional food with cornbread stuffing, mostly plain foods since I can't eat most spices and sugar.

  15. Hi Lynn!
    Gobble! Gobble!
That is congrats on your 100th post in Turkey talk. I can't wait for this drawing. It is so beautiful of you to share these wonderful things with us blogger friends. I am already a follower of yours. Your items are so beautiful, we are all so lucky and blessed to have an oppotunity to win something of yours that you have painted. I will be adding your giveaway to my blog.

We have no family out here in Phoenix. Everyone is in Oklahoma, so years ago I started making my own traditions and holiday fun with my kids, who now have kids of their own. All 15 of us will be together for Thanksgiving. After dinner, and when everyone has gone home, then I begin my decorating. That is a special time for me. I like to surprise everyone before they come for their visit the next week. The grandkids love to come here and, I have little trees decorated in each corner of the house, and it is always such a magical time for them and us.

Have a wonderful blessed day and thanks again for the wonderful giveaway. Country hugs, Sherry

  22. What a fantastic giveaway from a fantastic artist! I'd love to win all the goodies.

As for Thanksgiving...I'm like Brushed by an Angel...I forgot to get in line when God was handing out the cooking talents. My five sisters got all that and I loaded up on the artistic talents. We (yes, even me) share the cooking chore for all holidays. That way no one is totally worn out. We'll have turkey, ham, baked beans (my sister's secret receipe), sweet potato casserole, corn casserole, dressing, deviled eggs (MY secret receipe), salad and homemade rolls.

Then we'll finish that off with wonderful desserts provided by the younger genration, our daughters and daughters-in-law, who are great cooks in their own right.

Including sisters, brothers-in-law, our kids, and grandkids there will be 50 plus present. That's a lot for which to be thankful!!! God has truly blessed my family.
