Thyme to meet FATHER SNOW

DO NOT PIN MY PHOTOS TO PINTEREST
Father Snow is a new design that I just completed for
Painting With Friends!

I love to go junking for pieces to add to my
painting "stash"

Old wood antique iron boards make
wonderful surfaces to paint on

I used a very LARGE stippler brush to paint the background

I leave some of the original background showing thru for a nice prim look!
I stenciled on some snow flakes for the background.
To give your painting depth and dimension paint some of the snowflakes in a lighter shade. They will then appear to be in the distance.

Now the fun part!
Painting the design!

the
SNOWMAN

 and now to paint
FATHER SNOW!

I love painting BEARDS and FUR!

They take a lot of patience!

Adding some fur and details!

And his face!

and
CANDY CANE!

The TWIG TREE and SNOWIES!

LOTS
of
DIAMOND DUST
for
SPARKLE!

The
BALSAM Tree

even
SPARKLES!

I even addded
 tiny BELLS
to
FATHER SNOW'S
shoes!

I also made some
FAUX SNOWBALLS
and
added a tutorial to make them in the pattern packet!

There is a lot of work that goes into a pattern packet
Painting instructions, line drawings and photos!
Typing is my LEAST favorite part of making a pattern packet

It ALWAYS helps to have a room with a view!!!

You may purchase the pattern packet for
FATHER SNOW
in my pattern shop

Happy Painting!
Lynn
