It is thyme for a WINTRY DAY

WINTRY DAY
is a new design
 inspired
by
Terrye French
and
painted by me for
Painting With Friends

Terrye French
designed this piece many years ago
but
never made it into a pattern
She sent me this photo as
"inspiration"
to put the design into an E-Pattern

I decided to call my project
WINTRY DAY
It was a fun packet to put together and paint!
I hope you have fun with it also!

Years ago I had purchased this
 SHEEP checkerboard
as an unfinished wood packet
I decided to use it as a
TEMPLATE
to create the SHEEP shape for
WINTRY DAY

I changed it up a bit and made the legs detachable like Terrye's

I do a lot of
 DRY brushing
when painting

It gives a "softer" look

This was really a fun piece to paint

When painting this piece I added lots of
 sparkle using
DIAMOND DUST!

I decided to attach my
SHEEP
to a grapevine wreath
I added lots of various greens and berries

AND
 Of course more
DIAMOND DUST
for
sparkle!!!!

I then made a
WINTRY DAYS  BANNER
for
my wreath

I included a
 TUTORIAL
on
 banner making
in the packet!

Banners are so much fun to make

 and
can be used for so many projects!!!

I even decided to make some
SHEEP

bowl fillers!!!

 using my favorite
cinnamon ornamental dough recipe

I hope you enjoy painting
WINTRY DAY
as much as I have!!!

You can purchase
my
WINTRY DAY
e-pattern

Happy Painting!
