Thyme for Christmas cookies all around

I just love making Christmas cookies!

So this wooden bowl is a REAL favorite of mine

Don't the cookies look good enough to eat???
The shading techniques in this pattern were awesome!

I have only painted one of these
and
I couldn't part with it so it is one of
my most treasured Christmas decorations!

As always I like the back of my pieces to look as good as the front
I painted a piece of holly and signed my name and date.

  1. I don't blame you for not selling this little jewel. That's a lot of painting in that project. Love the way you finish the backs, too. Special little touches add so much.

  3. Lovely bowl...puts me in the mood for baking...I love baking German Christmas cookies - reminds me of my childhood growing up in Germany!

I will start baking in a couple of weeks because the cookies I bake, need to "age" for a few weeks to get nice and chewy....yummm...

    Have a nice weekend!

Your shading is beautiful and love how you do a little something on your pieces on the back. Very clever. Have a good creative day.
