Swan Thyme Welcome 

is a design inspired by

Terrye French

and

painted by me

for

PAINTING WITH FRIENDS

I cut my pattern pieces from

masonite

I decided I wanted this to be a 

SUMMER THYME DESIGN

so of course it needed to include

WATERMELON!

I then added lots of

SUNFLOWERS

I then added a vine up the swans

graceful neck

I cut out the arrow for the

WELCOME SIGN

I wired my swan to a large twig wreath

It's been a BUSY day in the STUDIO!

So I have been 

VERY BUSY

 working on 

SUMMER stock

I designed these 

BIG 20" 

FLIP FLOPS!

 

I also have been working on some 

BIG signs

These are 54" long

I also did some 

SUBWAY SIGNS

Thyme for some Kim Klassen Designs

I have been really busy lately with Special Orders

and

stock for the shops that I paint for

 BUT 

I thought I would show you a few older pieces that I 

have painted by 

Kim Klassen Designs

I have several of Kim's pattern books

I don't think that she is designing anymore.

I really liked her 

"Folk Art " 

look.

I did this coffee set for a customer.

This clock was a special order for another customer

It was a lot of work

the customer loved the finish piece

The numbers on the clock face and vine were hand painted on

I used some decorative tacks as markers for the numbers

This was a very big piece 

measuring over 40" tall

I hope you have enjoyed looking at some older designs that I have painted

Autumn Harvest

is

that I painted for 

Painting With Friends

I found this old wooden iron board 

at

 a thrift shop and thought that it would be perfect for my design

I first base coated the iron board then 

enlarged and transferred

my design

This was a FUN design to paint!

 

Lots of vine work and one stroke leaves!

I cut of 2 crows

and

 made a banner

I attached the crows to the sides of the iron board

and 

strung the banner thru their 

beaks

This pieces makes a wonderful addition to your 

FALL THYME 

decorating!

This design can be painted on many surfaces!

SPRING THYME IS HARE

was a fun design to paint

The inspiration for this design came from Terrye French

with the prim bunny shape that I cut out to paint on

I decided to make it into a 

WELCOME SIGN

It is always fun to see a design come to life!

I painted and hand lettered  the welcome sign

I added painted wood buttons to the pennies
